We have created this repository of meeting scripts to house in an accessible format the scripts to meetings. Our vision is that in the event of an absetee chair, anyone who is able to step in has access to the script. In addition, if you are starting a meeting these may serve as a resource.

Higher Power, we ask for your guidance in carrying out this work in service to the SLAA fellowship. Relieve us of the burdens of our egos and perfectionism. Grant us the grace of humility. Remind us to place principles before personalities. Help us to focus only on the greater good of the fellowship. Let us know that we are responsible only for doing the leg work, not the outcome. Give us the faith to trust in You and the group conscience. And . . . 

Give us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Meeting Script

Welcome to the SLAA meeting, “Staying in the Solution”.  My name is ___________, and I am a sex and love addict. This is a closed meeting of Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous. If you think you have a problem with sex and love addiction you are welcome to attend this meeting. We encourage newcomers to participate in at least six meetings so you can determine whether S.L.A.A. is right for you. This is a camera-on meeting, so we prefer that your camera be on when you are sharing or at least during the preamble. If we don’t see your face or the name attached to a phone number, we will ask you to introduce yourself by your first name so that we can welcome you.
