From Loneliness and Isolation to a “State of Grace”

Using literature and other tools for SLAA recovery dealing with loneliness.

Some well used suggestions!

1. Start your day with some contemplation or prayer (use State of Grace or other literature)

and a gratitude list. Keep it simple.

2. Know what meeting you will attend.

3. Make outreach calls.

4. Find a service commitment.

5. Use all the parts of “H.A.L.T” (Don’t get TOO Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired). Throughout the day, when big feelings arise, sit with them for up to 20 minutes and/or make calls and go to meetings. Take your day, one hour, one minute at a time.

I will share today 2 readings from State of Grace and share on them.
